County-level data for early years sector now available on Pobal website

County-level statistics using data developed and published by Pobal for the Early Years Sector Profile Report 2017/2018 is now available on the Pobal website. The data is based on the largest ever survey of the early years sector, with responses from a total of 3,928 early learning and care services (88% of childcare facilities).

The county level data is presented in the form of interactive dashboards on eight separate pages. To access the data, choose a page and click on a county for more information about childcare numbers, fees, staff qualifications and wages. The dashboards also include filters for facility type, urban/rural locations and the Deprivation Index.
